Tynecastle Park Hotel Celebrates a Landmark First Year

Tynecastle Park Hotel is celebrating its first birthday, marking a hugely successful 12 months since opening its doors on 3 February, 2024.

Over the past year, the hotel has welcomed guests from across the world, providing a one-of-a-kind hospitality experience inside the iconic Tynecastle Park Stadium.

Since opening, over 7,000 rooms have been sold, with an impressive average occupancy of 81% across the year, rising to 96% between May and October 2024.

Tynecastle Park Hotel Manager, Derek Paterson, reflected on the first year of operations.

"The response to the hotel has been absolutely incredible. We’ve had fantastic support from Hearts fans and have welcomed guests from all over the world,” he said.  

“The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and to see our occupancy rates so high in our first year is a real testament to the quality of the experience we offer."

Alongside the hotel’s success, the award-winning Skyline Restaurant, located on the top floor, has cemented itself as a must-visit dining destination in Edinburgh.

Open Thursday through Sunday, it continues to delight guests with its seasonal Scottish menus and a unique dining experience.

Graeme Pacitti, Hospitality and Hotel Operations Director, shared his pride in the hotel's achievements.
